Dr. Peluso came to the Atlanta area after completing his DMD at the Medical College of Georgia and nearly 30 years later, he’s still passionate about what he does: helping patients transform their smiles and the confidence that comes with it. Now serving the community at Dental Town’s Forsyth location, he brings decades of experience and genuine care to every appointment.

What Makes Him Different

Dr. Peluso doesn’t rush. He takes time to understand what matters to you – whether you’re looking for a straighter smile, a brighter one or solutions for missing teeth. He collaborates with each patient to set realistic goals based on your expectations, never pushing beyond what makes sense for your situation. His goal? Make the whole experience so good you’ll want to tell others about it.

Where His Passion Came From

Growing up in Columbus, Georgia, Dr. Peluso learned hometown values. He excelled in music at the State level, particularly French horn, before completing a business degree at Columbus State University. Throughout his early professional career, he worked with some fascinating early tech applications at places like NASA, Mote Marine Labs, Milliken and Georgia Tech. 

That journey through science and technology eventually led him back to school, where he discovered his opportunity to serve others in dentistry. His interests are everything esthetic through family and restorative practice. 

Beyond the chair, Dr. Peluso is committed to giving back. He’s worked on medical missions in Ecuador, served on various business and community boards and has supported local organizations like Bald Ridge Lodge, Jesse’s House, and the Nicholas House because he believes excellent dental care shouldn’t be an opportunity only for some.

When He’s Not at Dental Town

If you catch Dr. Peluso on a weekend, you will find him with his family or around town motorcycling, golfing or hunting for his next favorite restaurant. He also enjoys traveling with his wife and family in northeast Pennsylvania in her hometown. 

He’s genuinely passionate about good food. As the grandson and son of Italian restaurateurs, cooking specialty meals is a beloved hobby. He loves exploring foodie destinations across Atlanta, NEPA, New York, Chicago and coastal towns. He’s always happy to swap recommendations if you run into him.
